Categorisation of Personal Data

We May Collect:
Personal Identifiers–Such as name, address, gender, age, race, photos/images, marriage certificates, IP address, online identifiers, and other government identifiers.
Customer Records–Paper and electronic records containing personal data which you provide to us in order to access or use our Services; such as name, digital signature, address, mobile number, email, household members, household/personal income, tax returns, CPF records, bank/HDB statements in relation to mortgage data, and other relevant contact information.
Characteristics of Protected Classifications–Relevant disability and health information (for example; to make accommodations available to you at events we host) and other profile information you provide to us.
Commercial Information–Including records of real property, products or services purchased or considered, or other purchasing or use behaviours, histories or tendencies.
Usage Data–Internet and/or other electronic network activity information; including without limitation browsing history, search history, and information regarding an individual's interaction with our Services or advertisements.
Employment History–Professional, occupation, or employment-related information. Employment passes or Work Permit.
Psychographic Inferences–Inferences drawn from any of the above used to create a profile reflecting an individual's preferences, behaviors or other characteristics.

Personal Data submitted about a third party (e.g. information of your spouse, children, parents) will be considered with your explicit consent for the third party to you providing us with their Personal Data for the respective purposes.

Usage of Personal Data

We may use and disclose the personal data we collect for the following business purposes only:
Providing our service to you as your real estate salesperson in the sale, purchase or lease of a property: including, for example, to send or facilitate communications among you, other independent real estate salespersons and their affiliated entities, and other users of the Services to provide products and services you request (and send relevant information), to operate our Services; to communicate with you about your access to and use of our Services; to respond to your inquiries; to provide troubleshooting, fulfil your requests and provide technical support; and for other customer service and support purposes.
Keeping clients informed of new property launches, other properties which may be of interest, or existing property for sale or rent: including the sharing of possible properties of interest through varying modes of media; not limited to, social media groups, chat groups, rich media networks, direct contact, and through other media devices; and following up on client’s expression of interest to purchase or rent a property; and assisting you in the process of booking a unit at a new property launch.
Advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes: including to reach you with more relevant advertising, and to measure, and improve the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns; to send you offers and/or other information we think may interest you; to contact you about our Services or information we think may interest you; and to administer promotions.
Analysing and improving our business: including to better understand how users access and use our Services, to evaluate and improve our Services, and to develop new features, offerings, and services; to conduct surveys, and other evaluations, such as customer satisfaction surveys; and for other research and analytical purposes.
Checking with HDB or government agencies on client’s eligibility to purchase a new HDB flat or executive condo: including this (approved) access to personal CPF data, past transactions and home ownership history; related financial and household makeup data which may affect the sale/purchase of an intended property.
Performing valuation of the property (using anonymised data): including access to paid Integrated Land Information Service (INLIS); property ownership information, property title information, land information, management corporation information; access to site grounds (with approval from the relevant parties) to inspect, valuate, sell, and showcase.
Invoicing, auditing, reporting, corporate governance, and internal operations: including relating to financial, tax and accounting audits; audits and assessments of our operations, privacy, security and financial controls, risk, and compliance with legal obligations; our general business, accounting, record keeping and legal functions; and related to any actual or contemplated asset sale or transfer, financing, bankruptcy or restructuring of all or part of our business.
Complying with legal requirements under the Estate Agent Act 2010 to maintain transaction data: including relating to the Code of Ethics and Professional Client Care (CEPCC), avoiding dual representation, no referrals to moneylenders, no holding of transaction monies, the display of estate agent card; an obligation to operate and provide services under a Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII); and updating professional knowledge through annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
Defending our legal rights: including to manage and respond to actual and potential legal disputes and claims, and to otherwise establish, defend or protect our rights or interests, including in the context of anticipated or actual litigation with third parties.

Disclosure of Personal Data.

We may also disclose your Personal Data to the following third parties for business purposes only:
Partners, Developers, Co-brokers, Insurers (for group insurance), Law Enforcement Officials, Government Agencies (HDB, CPF), Regulating Body (Council for Estate Agencies), Lawyers Auditors, Third-party service providers and consultants, Any real estate salesperson acting on ERA’s behalf for the provision of ERA’s services.

Cookies, Tracking and Analytics

Our Services may use first party and third-party cookies, pixel tags, plugins, and other tools to gather device, usage and browsing information when users visit our Services. For instance, when you visit our Services, our server may record your IP address and other information such as the type of your internet browser, your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, and the pages you view and links you select on the Services, as well as date and time stamps associates with your activities on our Services.

We use the information to facilitate navigation, to personalize and improve your experience while using the Services, to improve and measure our advertising campaigns and to better reach users with relevant advertising both on our Services and on third party websites. We also gather statistical information about use of the Services in order to continually improve their design and functionality, and to understand how they are used and assist us with resolving questions regarding them.

Data Retention

JeremyChowRealty will delete, as soon as reasonably possible, or otherwise anonymise any personal data in the event that the personal data is not required for any reasonable business or legal purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may retain personal information for longer where required by our legal and regulatory obligations, professional indemnity obligations, or where we believe it is necessary to establish, defend or protect our legal rights and interests or those of others. With respect to the data and files we handle as a processor, we retain this personal information in accordance with our clients' instructions.
